P0173Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 2)

The engine computer adjusts how much fuel it adds based on readings from the oxygen sensors. This code means the correction needed on bank 2 (the engine side that does not contain cylinder #1) has gone too far in one direction. In practice the mixture is too rich or too lean and the computer can no longer compensate within its normal range.
