P0088Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

The engine computer detected that fuel pressure in the rail or fuel system is higher than it should be. Excess fuel pressure can over-fuel the engine and put dangerous stress on fuel system components such as injectors and the high-pressure pump. The ECM may reduce power to protect the system. Very high pressure can also pose a leak or fire risk.
