P0405Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low

The EGR system uses a sensor (typically the EGR valve position sensor, designated 'A') to report back to the computer. The computer detected this sensor's signal is too low, below its normal range. This usually means an electrical problem with the sensor or its wiring rather than a flow problem itself.
