P0449Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit

The engine computer found an electrical problem with the EVAP system's vent valve (the valve that opens and closes the path between the charcoal canister and outside air). It is used to seal the fuel-vapor system so it can be tested for leaks. The computer sees the valve's wiring or the valve itself reading out of range, so it cannot control it normally.
