P0730Incorrect Gear Ratio

The computer compares the transmission's input and output speeds to confirm the gear it commanded actually engaged. This code means the measured gear ratio does not match the commanded gear. In plain terms, the transmission is not holding the correct gear — it may be slipping or not engaging properly.
