P0172System Too Rich (Bank 1)

The engine computer detected that the air-fuel mixture on bank 1 is too rich, meaning there is too much fuel or not enough air. The computer reduced fuel as much as it could but still measured an over-rich mixture. Running rich wastes fuel and can foul spark plugs and damage the catalytic converter.
