P0201Injector Circuit/Open - Cylinder 1

The engine computer detected an electrical fault, such as an open circuit, in the control circuit for the fuel injector on cylinder 1. It is not getting the expected electrical response from that one injector. This usually means cylinder 1 is not being fueled properly. The result is often a misfire on that cylinder.

Inspect the connector and wiring at the cylinder 1 injector first, then test the injector itself. A single dead injector causes a misfire that can overheat and damage the catalytic converter over time, so avoid prolonged driving and get it repaired soon.
