P0336Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

The crankshaft position sensor is producing a signal, but it does not look right to the engine computer. The computer expects a clean, regular pattern as the crank turns. An irregular or out-of-range pattern can come from a bad sensor, a damaged trigger ring, or wiring trouble, and it can cause stalling or hard starting.
