There is a fault in the heater circuit of the downstream oxygen sensor on bank 1 (after the catalytic converter). The built-in heater brings the sensor up to temperature quickly so it can monitor the converter; if it fails, the computer detects abnormal heater current or resistance. The car usually drives normally because this sensor does not control fueling.
