P0238Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit High

The engine computer sees an abnormally high voltage or signal from the turbo/supercharger boost pressure sensor circuit. This reading is higher than the sensor should normally produce, so the computer flags it as a fault. It often points to a wiring short or a failed sensor rather than actual excess boost. The ECM may reduce power as a safety measure.
