P0299Turbocharger/Supercharger "A" Underboost Condition

The engine computer detected that the turbocharger or supercharger is producing less boost pressure than expected. The engine is not getting the extra air it needs for full power. This is commonly caused by a boost (air) leak or a turbo that cannot build pressure. The ECM often limits power or puts the car into limp mode.
