These Terms govern your use of the CarVinVin website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
CarVinVin currently offers a free VIN decode and an official safety-recall check, plus informational guides about vehicles. A paid full vehicle-history report is not yet available; any reference to it describes a planned future feature.
Accuracy and data sources
The information shown comes from third-party and public sources (such as the NHTSA vPIC database and other official records) and is provided for general guidance only. We do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free, and it is not a substitute for a professional inspection. Always verify a vehicle independently before buying.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial vehicle checks. You must not scrape, overload, copy in bulk, resell, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Intellectual property
The CarVinVin name, design, original text and software are owned by ShpatikStudio SRL. Underlying vehicle data remains the property of its respective sources.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShpatikStudio SRL is not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make based on the information shown.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Moldova, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
